Now that we have the mindset and background for the project it is time to actually get to work building it. This step will carry on for the duration of the project and will result in the completed product. It can be described by three main steps: Documenting, Prototyping, and Developing.

Documenting
It is vital that a software project is thoroughly documented. This gives you the power to pivot at a moments notice and get a new developer up to speed. Documenting appropriately will minimize the long-term costs associated with maintaining a software project. This feeds into your businesses scalability.

Prototyping
Prototyping is where we take your ideas and build out quick and simple features to reflect those requirements. This time is used to help further the discussion about certain areas of your product. Things that sound good on paper may not in fact work in a full scale application. It is best that we find these things out early and often, this way we can save headache and unexpected costs down the line.

Developing
Now that we have documented the feature and validated that it is the right fit, we can now add this functionality into the final product. This step will be the quickest since we have already completed the hardest parts.

User acceptance is where we have a milestone/set of features completed. We have discussed as a team and developed to reflect those things but it may require an extra ‘touch of paint’. This is the stage where you can work with us to make the final touches PERFECT and reflect exactly what you want. Once we have revised your project to perfectly match your expectations, we can move forward with wrapping up the project.

We offer the choice for you to own the product with the additional documentation etc. and find a path that is best for you, or we can manage it for you.
