When we began we were a couple college students from Waterloo, Ontario with goals that were very different from eachother. When Covid happened we decided to start freelancing to make some money.

Things changed very quickly.

We realized that this could be something more than just a gig for a few extra bucks. Our clients were impressed with our down-to-earth approach. We didn't understand, we were just giving them our honest opinions. After working for a few companies doing software development we started to see that this was NOT the status-quo.

Our goal of making money during Covid changed after that and we decided that the atmosphere of hiding behind “expertise” (ahem jargon) and shady sub-contractors that is so prevelant needs to go.
